We are opening a new chapter in our spiritual lives and our support for community in Colorado Springs of like-minded people seeking to live consciously.
Sundays at The Center evolved out of a desire, two existing structures and two enthusiastic ordained Interfaith Ministers. McKenzie Haglund had the desire. She and husband Walt have been “church shopping” for some time and not finding a fit. Meanwhile she launched The Center for Powerful Living and found some really well situated and accommodating office spaces for her new Center, structure one.
Both McKenzie and Walt have also been attending the group begun in Colorado Springs by us, the Spiritual Exploration Group, which meets every first Monday of the month. Through this association McKenzie came to the notion that the Bredesons might be interested in forming a spiritual community to meet every Sunday at her new Center. We expressed keen interest.
And, we had already incorporated a church in Colorado, Church of A New Alliance, Inc.; structure two is in place.
Sundays at The Center is constituted as an organization under the auspices of Church of A New Alliance, Inc. And, the church is in the process of filing for its 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status and can accept charitable donations as such.

I am looking forward to this group getting started and moving forward. I would love to see a community of people develop who are in touch with their own personal spirituality and who are open to the spiritualness and humaness in others. Hope to see many of you on Sunday.

We’re very excited about this new venture! Sundays at the Center will be a celebration of spirituality for people who are open-minded and exploring. The spiritual journey is enhanced by sharing with others. Hope you will join us!
