CLOSING NOTES FOR 2011

We hope you are all doing really well and enjoying this incredible and long anticipated 2012! Are you experiencing transformation? It seems to be coming to us in big ways!

We wanted to close out our 2011 year and share with you the ending financial status of our “Church” to which many of you generously contributed through the year. For those of you who made contributions by check we have sent individual statements for tax purposes. For the group here’s how we closed the year:

Contributions received totaled $269.

And we chose to make a donation of $50 from those funds to a very worthy cause; you may want to read about our friend, Susan Jacobi and her foundation here:

Susan’s story is about her remarkable journey of survival, recovery and action!

Posts to this blog will be suspended for now. Our two Colorado communities, The Spiritual Exploration Group and Sundays at The Center have been closed as we make our move eastward.

All blessings and love!

Rosemary and Richard

New Year, New Decade, … , New You?

We are approaching the half-way point in the first month of 2010. Are you reorganizing, preparing, shifting, keeping to those resolutions? Rosemary and I are in the midst of plans, budgets, coaching, being coached, learning, expressing, offering, considering…it seems an endless set of tasks we’ve committed to but we are moving. We are sensing a huge energy shift; and we are responding. There is a newness in everything we are doing and everything we are encountering. And it’s all GOOD!

We started off the year with a Celebration of Spirit at our Sundays at the Center on January 3rd. We celebrate every Sunday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at The Center for Powerful Living. Many of us come early to share a cup of tea. Many of us stay late to discuss the day’s teaching, the Mystic Message Rosemary channels from The Divine Feminine, the meditation, the whole experience.

And the Spiritual Exploration Group met on Monday evening, January 4, the First Monday of the first month of the new decade. Our discussion topic was “Earth Centered Spirituality.” We discussed the meaning of paganism and the origins of that term. Many look at it as a derogatory word; but it’s original Latin meaning was simply “an inhabitant of a country community, civilian.”  We shared various cultures’ approaches and celebrations of spirituality we have experienced or learned about, including Huna from Hawaii, Native American ceremony, shamanism, and other indigenous practices and beliefs. We concluded that an excellent practice is to look at “otherness” as a positive quality rather than something to fear or reject without examination.

We continue gathering every Sunday at The Center for Powerful Living at 11:00 am for celebration and sharing in Spirit. And we continue to meet as the Spiritual Exploration Group at Little Nepal restaurant the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. Please visit this blog often for updates, discussion, announcements, and “dialog without dogma.”

And please join in the discussion…leave a comment!

Sundays at The Center – Update for 10/25/2009

We had a beautiful celebration of the Spirit today. The main theme was “The Energy of Affirmations.” Rosemary channeled a message from The Divine Feminine and guided us through a meditation to find the seeds of affirmations that are right for us now in this moment on our soul journeys and empowering for the development of our human potential. As we ended the meditation to move into chant the snow began to fall in affirmation of the work we had done and to celebrate our movement along our paths.

Next Sunday we will be celebrating the many shifts that occur during this time. It is All Saints Day, All Hallows Day, we will begin the Celtic New Year, we will be shifting our clocks to standard time,  and we’ll be doing all of this in Full Moon energy. Join us to celebrate these shifts and to hear from Rosemary, The Voice of the Divine Feminine, as she channels what They would have us hear.

We are recording these messages from The Divine Feminine, so stay tuned for the way to access them.  And notice the waxing of the moon this week, moving to fullness on November 2nd. If you are really interested in the moon cycle, Rosemary’s message about how to work with the energy of the moon is available on her website: www.rosemarybredeson.com.

Sundays at The Center launches

September 20, 2009, was an eventful day! Several of us came together for our first meeting and celebration as “Sundays at The Center” in Colorado Springs. We are celebrating both our humanity and our spirituality. We are creating a “church” for people who don’t go to church. We are creating a community for those people who, when faced with making a choice of “religion” on a form, check “other” or “spiritual” rather than a specific religion.

I just finished reading Dan Brown’s latest: The Lost Symbol.  There are many quotable passages in this book, some of which Brown lifted from notable people. One of my favorites:

“That which is impenetrable to us really exists. Behind the secrets of nature remains something subtle, intangible, and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion.” –Albert Einstein

And, further:

“The religion of the future, Einstein had predicted, will be a cosmic religion. It will transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology.” –Dan Brown quoting Einstein

This is precisely what Sundays at The Center is aiming for. We are post-denominational, post-doctrinal and certainly non-dogmatic. We speak of God in many, many forms as “something subtle, intangible, and inexplicable.” We don’t put him in a box; we don’t put her on a pedestal; we venerate “this force beyond anything that we can comprehend.” And we embrace this force as not only something out there beyond us, beyond reach, but also something very near, very deep, inside of us.
